Recent ActivityClass Announcements Race and Ethnicity FormsDear Tyler Elementary Parent/Guardian: Your child was recently given a form for you to fill out and return that asks for your child Please complete parts A and B of the form, sign and date it at the bottom, and return it to our homeroom class by Friday, March 19. As called for in the new federal requirements, if the forms are not completed by parents/guardians, then a staff member will observe and select racial and ethnic categories on the student Thank you for your assistance in helping us collect this information. ’s race and ethnicity. The collection of this information is mandated by the federal government, which has revised the criteria of these data. Please send in enough snack for 26 students on your designated day** -Homework is sent home every Friday and due back the following Friday. A homework cover sheet is attached with directions on how to complete each page. In addition to the assigned homework, please make sure you are reading to your child every night and recording those minutes on the cover sheet. -Volunteers have started in our classroom. A volunteer sheet is sent home every month to the parents who have offered to volunteer.
